A little info about me (Jane)

As you will see from my home page, I live in Cornwall with my husband John, our chocolate tortie persian cat Emillie, and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Ben. We ‘escaped’ from London 20 years ago now and much prefer the quieter way of life. I have a Virgo Sun, Moon and Ascendant, hence The Hermit above. I have my own boarding cattery, which has just started its tenth year and prior to this I had several jobs including office administration and being a technical illustrator, which I did for around 25 years.


I think it is true to say that, I had an interest in Astrology and Tarot from an early age but it has only been in the last 15 years or so, that I have found my true spirituality. Both Astrology and Tarot form a life time study and integrate very well with my Druid path. I have studied Druidry for a number of years with the Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids, completing my formal studies last year but again, in many ways I am just beginning. I am also a qualified Crystal Therapist and Energy Healer, I have Diplomas in Bach Flower Essences, Dowsing, and I am a Pet Bereavement Counsellor. Having been involved with animals for many years, I also like to use crystals and energy healing on animals and doing an astrology reading for an animal can be very revealing, especially in connection with personality traits.


At present, I am an ‘Endorsed Reader’ and member of the Tarot Association of the British Isles, a Druid with the OBOD and a member of the Pagan Federation.


Having explained the Hermit card above which comes from the DruidCraft Tarot deck, in Chinese Astrology I was born during a year of the Dragon with the element of water. The Water Dragon below is one of the 4 elemental Dragons from the Druid Animal Oracle.
